This 895 m² additions and alterations project, located in the Blyde River Botanical Reserve on a portion of the farm Driehoek outside Hoedspruit, was designed to reference the footprint of an abandoned dwelling. Emphasis was placed on maximising shading elements and framing views of the surrounding landscape.
