BALISTIDEA
Balistidae at Nhoxani is located on the unspoilt coastline of the Santa Maria Peninsula in Mozambique. This modern, eco-friendly retreat was designed to offer vacationers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the area’s stunning natural surroundings.
The five-star lodge features a vibrant colour scheme inspired by the triggerfish theme. Site levels were carefully considered, and access walkways were designed with pause areas to enhance the guest experience as they ascend from beach level up the steep coastal dune.
To manage water flow and protect the sensitive coastal environment, check dams were constructed to reduce runoff and prevent erosion, while sea walls were introduced to minimise tidal impact.
