AMOS VILLAS
This beach lodge is situated high on a coastal dune within the Nhoxani Private Estate, on the western side of the Santa Maria Peninsula, adjacent to Inhaca Island. It offers beautiful views stretching from the coastal forest to the ocean.
The retreat was designed around a central communal space to foster a relaxed atmosphere and enhance the experience of the surrounding forest and distant bay. The timber structure was specifically designed to suit the site’s remote location and is elevated above the dune, allowing the environment to remain undisturbed.
Showcasing the raised decked terrace designed to take advantage of bay views
Connects the front terrace with the decked pathway leading to the manager’s unit and the lower-ground staircase accessing the utility area beneath the lodge
Displays the individual suites arranged around the central lodge, featuring a swimming pool and a sunken seating area known as a Braza, meaning “the place for entertainment”
Wooden screens and newly planted shrubbery provide privacy
Bedroom suites located adjacent to the main lodge
